New housing : pilot wire technology
Pilot wire technology is designed for new housing equipped with a pilot wire network. Heating control orders are sent to the appliances over a wire specific for this use.
Principle: A "master" appliance sends the orders to slave appliances by means of the "pilot wire".
Separate programming for the bathroom is strongly recommended:
- in spring and autumn, it is a good way to have a comfortable temperature without switching on the heating for the entire house,
- during the morning heating cycle, it prevents the load shedding from cancelling the Turbo priority on the bathroom heater.
Pilot wire technology uses two types of programming: embedded programming and centralised programming.
